Bases Academy works closely with Ed Monroe. Coach Monroe is a former Assistant/Pitching Coach at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA. a Division One program.
Coach Monroe achieved All American status during his 16 years of playing Mens Major Division Fastpitch Softball. 3x First Team All Northern California, and played in the 1989 United States Olympic Festival in Oklahoma City.
Coach Monroe shares his knowledge of the game with each coach within the organization in an effort to make Bases Academy the perfect home for your travel ball experience and prepare you for your next level of play.
Coach Monroe knows the process of college recruiting and has helped guide many of his students to their dream of playing College Softball at all levels.
Bases Academy is one of the most knowledgeable teaching softball organizations in the country. Our players learn the very best of the game, from the very best in the game!
As a Bases Academy athlete we provide you with a year-round indoor training facility, as well as year around Conditioning Program to build our athletes into the best possible softball/baseball players and people they can be. Bases Academy also has many college players come in their off season and share their knowledge with our players.
Bases Academy team goals are to keep the game fun, build competitive confident teams and grow the game in a positive way. We’re looking for players, parents and coaches who are committed to this process. Bases Academy has the special opportunity to positively impact our youth in ways that go beyond the playing field. The training at Bases Academy will play a powerful role in forging how your child competes as an athlete and grows as a person. We feel there is no better measure than putting your ALL into practice and training so you can then put what you've learned into action on game day.
