Coach Cardoza has a vast knowledge of the game, and is recognized as one of the best baseball/softball minds in the area. 

As a player, Coach Cardoza played 2 years of college ball at Merced College before transferring to Kansas Newman College to wrap up his college career. After his playing days he spent 25 years with Merced College as their hitting coach. Currently, he's serving as an assistant coach with the Los Banos High School Varsity Baseball program.

He also served 2 years as an assistant coach with the Los Banos Varsity Softball program and has many years of experience as a travel ball coach in both baseball and softball.
