Ed Monroe has dedicated much of his life to both baseball and softball. From being a collegiate baseball player who earned tryouts with two professional teams, turned Men's Fastpitch Softball player, his resume only grows from there! He played at the highest level of Men's Fastpitch for 16 straight seasons before returning to the field years later as a sought after softball instructor.

Coach Monroe currently serves as Assistant/Pitching Coach for Southern University and is an active participant in the college recruiting process. At Bases Academy he serves as Director of Operations, where he oversees the growth of the facility, coaches and teams that represent Bases Academy.
